Siring Genetic Progress at Double V Ranch

At Double V Ranch, our bulls are more than just breeders—they're the backbone of our genetic engine. Selecting the right bull determines the performance of the entire herd for generations to come, which is why we invest heavily in data-backed, Speckle Park-proven sires.

Speckle Park bulls are uniquely suited to deliver consistent carcass quality, structural soundness, and temperament. Through rigorous evaluation, we select bulls with high Expected Progeny Differences (EPDs) for marbling, ribeye area, and feed conversion.

We prioritize low birth weights for calving ease, strong growth rates for efficient gains, and structural balance to ensure longevity in the field. Our bulls are not only selected for their phenotype and bloodlines but also based on hard performance metrics: how their calves grow, finish, and grade. Because Speckle Park cattle marble exceptionally well and finish earlier than many traditional breeds, our bulls help produce progeny that reach AAA or Prime grading with fewer inputs—reducing both time and environmental load. This makes them ideal for both commercial beef production and seedstock development.

Simply put, the right bull defines the future—and we breed for nothing less than excellence.
